Home health care, provided by Ebenezer Home Health Service, is a service for persons who are too sick or disabled to care for themselves, but well enough not to be admitted to a hospital or nursing home. Studies indicate that patients who stay at home, or return home to recover, may get better more quickly. Ebenezer Home Health Service is recognized for the quality and scope of its service. Ebenezer Home Health Service employs health care professionals in a variety of areas. Our registered nurses are graduates of approved schools of nursing and are licensed to practice in Illinois. Therapists and medical social workers hold bachelor or master's degrees from approved schools. Home health aides have completed approved training courses. Home Care encourages its staff to improve and update their knowledge by attending seminars and conferences. |

The service area includes portions of Cook, Will, Lake and DuPage county. Payment
For many patients whose medical situation is not critical, home health care services are considerably less expensive than comparable hospital services. Payment for in-home services can be covered by Medicare and MedicAid. When coverage is not available, patients can make other arrangements for payment. Service is available to all persons, regardless of race, color, sex, religion, age national origin, handicap, or ability to pay. Speakers Available
A Home Care staff member is available, at no charge, to address area groups and organizations about our services. Opportunities To Help
Restricted giving may be designated for special projects. The home care programs provide training for volunteers to visit with patients. Volunteers may also perform office duties. |
